PROJECT: Launch of the first international hotel chain in Verbier. First alpine destination for Starwood’s sub brand - W Hotels.   Mixed-use luxury hotel product including 123 rooms + suites .Hotel outlets include; spa,  5 x F&B concepts, conference and meeting facilities. Over 20.5 M generated in 1.3 years.

  • Positioned hotel in the local and international markets with a strong focus on demand generation, luxury brand alignment, guest experiences and loyalty
  • Lead the hotel positioning strategy with specific emphasis on target audience, competitive differentiation, value proposition communication & activation

  • Collaborated with Global Public Relations team to generate over 82 million press impressions for W Verbier in 2014

  • Worked with internal and external resources to define clear positioning for each venue in relation to the overall hotel positioning

  • Developed & implemented local marketing activities (including event strategy) aiming to engage with locals and increased capture ratio from in-house guests

  • Developed and delivered annual and quarterly marketing plans and budgets in line with the hotel strategic priorities and revenue target by market segments

  • Planned and executed content creation as well as briefings to creative agencies (including copy writing, photo/video shootings). Ensured delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning

  • Liaised with property and Regional / Country Digital Field Marketing teams to deliver multi-lingual tactical marketing campaigns in all segments

  • Pro-actively identified relevant marketing partners for the hotel and managed these relationships profitably to raise hotel awareness, drive demand, deepen loyalty and enrich the brand experience

  • Drove loyalty Marketing: Focused on increasing engagement with SPG Members through the organization of events, and enhancing guest experiences with Elite Members on property

  • Supported sales team with the creation of marketing collateral and tactical promotions associated with the key market segments (E.g. Groups, Weddings, Suites)

  • Developed Social Media strategy in line with the brand positioning and hotels stories. Specific focus on online reputation management and ongoing guest engagement
